"Home when you are" (2021)

Home is always re-constituted and co-constructed between two simultaneous movements: a constant internalization of the outside, and externalization of the inside. The outside that renews the domestic ranges from daily grocery shopping to borrowing books, delivery personnel, invited and unwanted guests. The externalized inside is thrown out immediately or dumped to the bin to be thrown out later. (If she hadn’t already walked out) “Home when you are” is a work about home, made in home, while the preparation for two new homes is taking place.
